Do you provide samples of your products?
We don't provide samples of our products but those customers who would like to sample our high quality products can do so by placing an order as normal.
Do I need a Paypal account to shop at Cakey Makey?
No, you can pay with your credit/debit card. Please refer to our "Payment & Delivery" page for further information on customers who don't have a Paypal account.
I'm interested in buying several items. Do you offer a discount?
Our bulk packs already offer substantial discounts so we will not discount them further unless you are interested in ordering large quantities. Customers interested in ordering large quantities can contact us at info@cakeymakey.co.uk. Minimum spend applicable. Full payment in advance. Proof of business is also required. Special order items are non-returnable. Average lead time 6-8 weeks.
You are out of stock of some items that I would like to buy. When will they be back in stock?
If we have an expected delivery date for out of stock items this will be displayed on the relevant shop page. If there is no expected delivery date displayed then we are currently working very hard to get our hands on more stock!
I'm organising a charity event. Could I have some freebies or a discount?
We don't give freebies or discounts to customers organising charity events. We do however supply and support various charities and fund raising events in our locality.
Can you tell me who your suppliers are?
No.
My parcel is delayed. What should I do?
Most parcels are dispatched via Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery within one to two working days from the date that your order is placed.
We post Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
All parcels will require a signature upon delivery. If you are not available to sign for your parcel, the postman will return your parcel to your local sorting office for you to collect or arrange redelivery.
Sometimes Royal Mail will attempt to deliver your parcel but will fail to leave a "While you were out" card. Please be aware that Royal Mail will hold such parcels for only seven days before returning them to us, so if there's been no sign of your parcel or a "While you were out" card within seven days of ordering from us, please get in touch with us for the parcel tracking number. You will then be able to track down your parcel with Royal Mail and arrange redelivery.
We cannot be held responsible for Royal Mail delivery times.
I don't want to pay for postage & packaging or I have left placing an order too late, can I come and collect my items from you?
No, we are an online business. All orders should be placed via the website and postage & packaging will be added automatically to your order.
Will you share my details with third parties?
Never. We only ever use your details for the processing of your order unless otherwise requested.
Are your cake decorations suitable for vegetarians/vegans?
Please refer to the ingredients listed for each item.
I don't want all the colours that are in the mixed pack of baking cases/ I don't want to buy 500 of one colour. Can you sell in smaller quantities or mix a pack for me?
No, we don't make mixed packs to order. If you are a small business and require smaller quantities please take a look at our packs of 50 baking cases.
Do any of your edible cake decorations contain colours/additives?
Some do, but they are approved.
